In de regio’s Noord Brabant, Zuid Holland en Zeeland nemen wij de werving en selectie van onze opdrachtgevers uit handen. Wij richten ons voornamelijk op MBO, HBO en WO geschoolde medewerkers die op zoek zijn naar een functie voor vast dienstverband.

Technical Support Engineer

 

De opdrachtgever is gevestigd in regio Rotterdam.

Ze zijn gespecialiseerd in de maritieme branche.

 

Functie omschrijving:
24/7 Technical Support Engineer (in continuous 5-Shiftsystem)

- Provide first line technical support by telephone and mail to external and internal customers
- Respond effectively to customer enquiries and manage and interpret customer requirements
- Will carry out first line investigation and troubleshooting with the customer online
- Liaise with Product Centres for immediate detailed technical support
- Verifies status and follow-up on outstanding technical support requests
- Maintains customer asset database with updated information regarding technical support
- Contacts customer upon completion of his technical support request
- Maintains technical support statistics to determine KPI-status
 

Functie eisen:
- 2-4 years experience working in a technical / maritime sector
- Technical experience gained in the field, e.g. working at customer sites in a service/supplier/contractor role
- Technical education in a relevant discipline, such as Maritime- Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering at MBO- 4-level (sub-Bachelor)
- Strong inter-personal skills and customer focus, challenged by analysing and solving problems
-  Excellent English and Dutch verbal and written communication skills
-  Pro-active and a team player
-  Candidates must be prepared to extensive travel to Scandinavia for training purposes during the first 6 months of their enrolment
