4x Product Controllers (Interest Rate Derivatives Product Control, Credit Product Control and Change Product Control)
The Product Control Group within this top tier Investment Bank has a significant presence and the role within the organisation. Product Control has a close working relationship with the trading desks and other areas focusing on control, service and reporting. The group are a central point of contact for many issues that affect the bank including new product approval, model validation, and independent verification of valuations. By placing a heavy emphasis on information technology and focusing on project work the product control group are able to address control and operational risk and meet the internal and external obligations.
Credit Product Control: (Analyst)
- 1-4 years Product Control experience
- Strong Financial product knowledge including Derivatives
- IT exposure with a proven track record in improving process and delivering on projectsSolid accounting skills with knowledge of IFRS as it applies to Financial Instruments
Interest Rate Derivatives Product Control: (AVP and Analyst level)
- 1-5 years experience in Product Control
- Knowledge of interest rates derivatives preferred but not necessary
- Project work and assisting in system development and testing experience desirable
- Accountancy qualification preferred but not necessary
- Good Microsoft EXCEL and Access skills a plus
Change Product Control:
- At least 5 years work experiance
- Experience working in a Product control division Front to Back, which continually seeks to challenge and improve standards
- Experiance in achieving results in a project context using resources that do not report directly to you
- Strong accounting background, accountancy certificate preferred
- Strong IT skills: Excel
