Treasury Management Sales Consultant / Cash Management Sales Consultant – VP Level

Location: London

Working within this Front Office Transactional Sales role within the Treasury Management Group, of this highly diverse and international financial services company, you will be required to sell transactional services to subsidiaries of multi-national corporations.

Treasury Management is responsible for sales of treasury management products to subsidiaries of US based corporate and commercial clients, working closely with RMs and other product channels.

The primary solutions are maintained on the London Branch platform and include: in-country and cross-border treasury management, online liquidity management and control. In addition, the UK TM sales team supports the European parented Relationship Management team with US domestic TM expertise.

This role will allow future development for the right individual due to the exciting international growth plans of our client. This outstanding opportunity would suit a dynamic and driven individual who operates as a self-starter and is happy to work in a fast paced environment. 

Working with an existing and strong client base you will manage a portfolio of both primary and secondary relationships and be responsible for dealing with both subsidiaries and Parent banks

The primary areas of responsibility for the role are as follows:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Existing Treasury Management Sales, Relationship Management or other consultative sales experience.

• A thorough understanding of Treasury Management collections and disbursement processes in the UK, Europe and the US.

• Knowledge of European clearing systems paper, electronic, cash and card plus SWIFT for corporates.

• A track record of building and maintaining new sales.

• Previous subsidiary banking experience and a CTP or Cert ITM qualification

• Strong relationship building and management skill

• Experience in dealing with internal and external contacts, taking part in sales meetings with clients and supporting other team members as required. 

The role will involve some travel to include 1-2 trips to US/year and travel within UK and Europe and can offer a balanced and achievable sales target!
