About the Job
Athens Community Council on Aging, a private, non-profit organization dedicated to maintaining and enriching the lives of older adults is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to oversee all aspects of the fiscal management and operations of the multiple programs in the organizations and funding sources; report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Requirements: Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Training and experience in financial management, especially in the non-profit sector; ability to work well in a team-oriented environment; ability to communicate effectively with all staff levels as well as with the Board of Directors; ability to prepare budgets and monitor performance as it relates to budgets. Training, Education and Experience: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance required or CPA. Experience with non-profits preferred; minimum of seven years experience required with at least four years in a supervisory/managerial capacity. Medicaid billing experience a plus.
