Monthly financial accounting and management analysis for both USGAAP and IFRS
Intercompany reconciliation and resolution
Balance sheet substantiation
Month end journal entries
Prepare IFRS and US GAAP financial statement disclosure information.
Prepare regulatory reporting information.
Maintain effective controls among the various subsystems to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Production and analysis of Product Information Pack (PIP) for RMBS Finance Director.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Essential - Experience in financial reporting and good technical accounting skills. Demonstration of organizational skill and time management (e.g. project involvement) working to deadlines
Preferred - Knowledge of financial instruments in banking. Knowledge of IFRS important.
Understanding of sub ledgers, sub ledger- ledger controls, and control sensitivity for large volumes data needed.
Self Motivated; Flexible; Able to work as part of a team both locally and on global context ( NY London resources, and Professional Service Centers outside US); Able to communicate with all levels and backgrounds.
Microsoft Office programs essential. Experience with SAP a plus. Database knowledge yet another plus.
