AD/Director, Project Finance
Our client is a leading international bank with their European HQ based in the City of London. As part of their expansion plans they now seek an Associate Director (possibly Director) level professional.
Within the role you will be expected to market the bank to clients, generate business and thereafter undertake all steps to ensure the deal reaches financial close where possible. This is a "hands on" role.
Responsibilities:
- You will identify, develop and maintain a market knowledge both in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
- You will create new relationships in the Oil Gas sector and take the initiative of planning marketing trips, pitching to clients and networking .
- Execution, analysis and documentation of Project Finance deals.
- Liaison with syndications, RMs, credit and legal.
- Maintaining a good relationship with the Branch network is essential as you will be required to work closely with them in many cases.
- Assist and lead business development planning and meeting with all relevent institutions and corporations.
To be considered for this role you MUST have:
- 10 years+ recent PF transaction experience (EMEA Oil Gas is the core sector).
- A good credit risk grounding, be able to work closely with credit teams to assess and structure out risks.
- A very good knowledge of the loan documentation necessary for such deals
- Track record of "deal doing" in this region.
