Adult and Paediatric Critical Care Nurses

I am now urgently recruiting agency nurses with adult and paediatric ITU, HDU, ICU, NICU and PICU experience to fill available contract jobs in Leeds. Hays Healthcare is an approved supplier of critical care nurses to these NHS hospitals and I am seeking motivated and reliable General Nurses / RGN / Paediatric nurses to work in these fields.

For these contract jobs you have to be available for a minimum or 2 days per week and successfully register with Hays Healthcare as an agency nurse. We offer high volume work in one of the Largest Teaching Hospitals in Europe and have immediate interviews and start dates available.

As agency nurse you will only be placed on wards that match your skills and work experience. It is essential that you have at least 6 months UK hospital experience in any of the above fields. You must have a current NMC registration and would need to provide full reference details to cover the last 3 years’ work history. Duties can involve:

• Assessing patient conditions, planning and implementing care plans
• Treating wounds and providing advanced life support
• Observing and recording patient vital signs
• Insuring that ventilators, monitors and other types of medical equipment function properly
• Administering IV fluids and medication
• Ordering diagnostic tests
