Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Summary
As an application developer, you will design, code, test and analyze complex software systems and applications. Showcase your ability for researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production lifecycle.
· Contribute to all phases of Agile (Scrum) software development process in a team environment including: planning, estimating, coding, testing, and troubleshooting.
· Work closely with team members, web designers, product managers, and technical support personnel to respond to changing business needs.
· Provide support for existing solutions including troubleshooting, defect correction, and testing.
· Suggest creative and innovative solutions to problems.
· Comply with department standards and industry best practices when designing and implementing solutions; identify work process improvements; suggest and implement new technologies.
· Provide application documentation through proper and consistent use of code comments.
· Ensure high quality solutions by implementing unit tests and performing functional and regression testing.
· Maintain up-to-date job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and industry trends; participate in educational opportunities, personal networks, and professional organizations.
· Accomplish department and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.

ASP (classic), ASP.Net, C#, General Programming Skills, Problem Solving, Software Debugging, Software Design, Software Development Fundamentals, Software Development Process, Software Documentation, Software Maintenance, Software Performance Tuning, SQL Query Writing, Software Testing, Teamwork, Visual Basic Script.
