The Allstate Corporation, the nation?s largest publicly held personal lines insurer is looking to hire an experienced web application developer who will be the primary technology lead for several complex large-scale consumer and agency facing websites. Summary: Work with Clients, developers, and business analysts to analyze, design and develop internal and external websites. Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop conceptual designs and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Design and develop Web Applications in a Teamsite/Livesite, Java/.NET environment and maintain or enhance existing websites and software. Test and debug applications; identify, track and resolve defects. Responsibilities Consult with internal clients to develop an accurate and complete understanding of their business needs and problems. Design, Develop, implement and deploy data capture and presentation templates Translate customer requirements into key design principles, detailed module specifications, system characteristics and application design. Write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications. Identify cause/effect relationships and address root causes of problems wherever they exist. Establish feedback mechanisms and procedures for new system development to identify problems and enhancement opportunities.
