Area Manager Professional Services

- In collaboration with an internal and external partner ecosystem, develop and execute plans to deliver professional engineering and complementary services for mobility solution deployments
- Demonstrate an understanding of key business and profit drivers for customers and identify solutions which complement their business objectives and mobilize their business.
- Support the definition of integrated solutions and deployment offers to customers across their mobile devices, applications, and network connectivity
- Work across different functions within and external to assigned workgroup to solve design and deployment challenges
- Provides technical expertise support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer deployments
- Develop comprehensive, integrated processes and documentation required to support successful, on time delivery of customer solutions
- Position self as a professional services delivery Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Provides responsive, timely and thorough responses to customers and sales people supported.
- Drive knowledge transfer to the sellers and customers on wireless deployment service offers as needed.
- Analyze data to identify process improvements
- Develop and plan targets that improve effectiveness and efficiency
- Develop, document and share best practices for the deployment of wireless data and application solutions.
- Stay current and maintain a working knowledge of complex data products and ATT Mobility Applications solutions and pricing.
- Creates recommendations, and implements new methods, techniques, and/or procedures
- Experience creating customer proposals and Statements of Work

Other Requirements:
- Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate in a fast-paced, high-growth professional environment
- Must possess both outstanding written and oral communication skills
- 5+ years of full lifecycle project management experience, project scheduling and tracking, resource prioritization and management
- Experience in managing customer relationships in a post- or pre-sales environment
- Supervisory experience, including managing within a matrixed environment
- Strong communication skills (oral, written, listening) and effective customer communication skills
- Self-starter, ability to work independently with minimal direction. Problem-solver with discernment (able to determine critical vs. non-critical items).
- Good organizational skills and capable of multiplexing tasks.
- Excellent follow-up and closure skills. Process oriented.
- Leader as well as team player with ability to foster good working relationships, internally and externally.
- Familiarity with embedded systems or wireless/telecommunications industry is a plus
