MBC salary range 60,000 to 85,000 annual salary

 

 

 

JOB SUMMARY:

 

This position is part of our Army Computer Emergency Response Team at Fort Huachuca, AZ. Fort Huachuca is home of the U.S. Army Intelligence Center and the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM)/9th Army Signal Command. Located in Cochise County, in southeast Arizona, about 15 miles north of the border with Mexico, Fort Huachuca was annexed in 1971 by the city of Sierra Vista and was declared a national landmark in 1976.

 

As a member of this Emergency response team, you will Provide advanced Network Monitoring and Intrusion Detection of one of the most advanced and complex Intelligence Centers in the world.

 

Successful individual will;

 

Performs technical support focused on the development, operation, management, and enforcement of security capabilities for systems and networks. Technical support is concentrated on the protection and defense of information systems by ensuring their availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation. This includes providing for their restoration by incorporating protection, detection, and reaction capabilities. Must possess experience with DoD’s defense in depth architecture; the capabilities associated with the DoD architecture; Information Assurance (IA) / Computer Network Defense (CND) Policies, and procedures. This category addresses DoD 8570.01M current and anticipated requirements by focusing on the Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Information Assurance Management (IAM), CND Analyst, CND Auditor and IA Systems Architects and Engineers (IASAEs). Academia curricula which support this labor category include: Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Systems Technology, Engineering Technology, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems Engineering, and Computer Science.

 

Qualifications:

 

·         CISSP Certification; please provide certification number on resume

·         Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI

·         RCERT

·         8570 Compliance

·         Bachelor’s degree

·         Seasoned Information Assurance skills and experience

·         Solid ability to perform advanced level Network Monitoring

·         Clear written and oral communications

·         Ability to troubleshoot issues and present solution options

·         Ability to build productive relationships across groups and within the technical teams
