Auditor Job in New York, New York US
A Publicly Traded Company located in New York City, New York has an opportunity for an Auditor who will handle the following responsibilities:
- Provide management with recommendations and analysis on all aspects on their financial information
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and resulting performance
- Verify the accuracy of our balance sheet accounts
- Assist with acquisitions activity
- Perform a broad range of operational and financial audits
- Work as a field agents for internal control assessment, business process improvement and performance enhancement
- Tailor audit programs to current company situations
- Prepare and complete comprehensive working papers to document all audit activities performed
- Prepare findings and recommendations for inclusion in the audit report
Qualified applicants for this excellent opportunity will possess
- A Bachelor’s degree Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus
- 2+ years of experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to travel a very reasonable 20% of the time (mostly to larger European cities)
The total compensation range for this opportunity is $52,000 to $62,000 with excellent benefits, bonus, and 401k with match.
