Banks Credit Associate (Scandinavian Languages a MUST)

As part of the Financial Institutions Client Credit Management team you will work closely with businesses and functions across the Investment Bank including Debt Capital Markets Origination Distribution, Derivatives, Trade Finance, Treasury Services, Equity Capital Markets, Mergers Acquisitions, and client coverage teams. p

Candidates: p

p

Will become a key member of deal teams in the formulation, approval and execution of new loans, derivatives and other products with credit risk and will have responsibility for due diligence, transaction structuring negotiation and deal execution. p

This will involve extensive interaction with internal partners, lenders, investors, legal counsel and clients; p

p

Will be expected to develop and progress to become the internal credit expert for a portfolio of clients, responsible for the preparation of counterparty credit analysis, with a particular emphasis on presenting a forward-looking view of the creditworthiness of each counterparty. p

p

Will, ultimately, proactively manage the on-going credit relationship and exposure of the firm's clients. p

p

Undertaking a variety of on-going portfolio management activities, which may include: identifying potential refinancing opportunities, dealing with waivers and amendments, interacting with other risk management groups to manage transaction or portfolio risk dynamically. p

p

Assessing the overall credit quality of an assigned portfolio through periodic risk reviews. p

p

Role Requirements : p

p

Fluency in either Swedish or Danish or any of the Scandinavian languages is required though not essential. p

Relevant experience of Banking sector knowledge. p

p

Successful completion of at least Degree-level education, with an advanced degree in finance, business administration, or economics a plus. p

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver clear and concise reports and opinions. p

Demonstrated credit skills and judgement. p

Solid product knowledge; primarily with good trading product expertise but also ideally including debt experience. p

Good understanding of ISDA / CSA and associated documentation. p

Capability to work successfully under pressure with the understanding that deal complexity and challenging execution deadlines sometimes require personal flexibility. p
