Blue-Chip International Hedge Fund – Senior Long/Short Equity Analyst
A global seeding trading platform with circa $10B in its capital is looking to add a Generlaist Analyst in its fundamental long/short equity divison of Chicago, Illinois.Hong Kong-based long/short equity hedge fund with a Asian equity focus is looking to build upon its successful team by adding an Equity Analyst. The candidate will be a bottom-up and in-depth analyst with preferably a generalist perspective to stock-picking.
You will report directly to the Senior Fund Manager, who has managed two major Hedge Funds in Hong Kong and Beijing.
The role promises an excellent pay structure and a five year route to fund handling and portfolio construction within the Asian equity desk.
Responsibilities of the role:
- You will cover a generalist perspective upon US equities with an emphasis upon Industrials, Consumer, Healthcare and Utilities.
- The lead analyst role reports directly to the globally renowned senior fund manager, and this role is to carry out due dilligence and generate ideas from a contrarian stock-picking perspective
- In-depth rigorous bottom-up analysis of stocks, and so buyside experience in Global or US markets is essential.
In order to be considered for the role, the right candidate will display the following traits:
- A strong track record of over four years in the Long/Short buyside equity space
- Stock pick in a rigorous, bottom-up and fundamental in-depth research
- High and strong track record of individual and fund performance
- Excellent financial background, detailing constant employment and steady progression
