About the Job

The Bookings Commissions Analyst (BCA) reviews, reports and develops accurate reporting measures of our global company bookings.  The BCA will be our chief resource responsible for ensuring accuracy of our bookings activity at the opportunity level in Salesforce.com. This role will require ongoing hands-on interaction with our sales operations team and billing operations team to coordinate optimal functionality in utilizing our bookings records for company reporting measures.

This position will be required to manage all aspects of the sales and partner commission process. The BCA will work closely with sales and finance operations to ensure accurate commissions are paid not only to the team but also to our business partners for referral business. This role requires very strong Microsoft Excel formula and presentation skills.  Knowledge of Varicent software and familiarity with database administration such as Microsoft Access also preferred.

About the Team  

While this person is the sole person handling this function, he/she will be part of a team that reports to the Business Operations Manager.  Also, on a regular and as-needed basis, the Bookings Commissions Analyst will work closely with the company’s senior executive team to produce accurate and timely reports.

Responsibilities:
•    Perform in depth Bookings data analysis on 3,000+ transactions per month to ensure accuracy for reporting purposes as a public company.
•    Analyze all subscription business contracts and billing events to ensure accuracy in bookings recording practices. Requires thorough contract review skills and data analysis.
•    Administer Varicent (commission software) for reporting commission earnings for entire sales team of 150+.  
•    Administer partner commission process in paying referral fees.  Heavy initiative as we progress through 2012 to leverage business-partner agreements to significantly grow our global business opportunities.
•    Manage bounce-back process.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
•    Education:  BA/BS Degree
•    Minimum years’ experience:  3 years
•    Technology:  Advanced Excel, fluent in the other MS Office offerings including Access and PowerPoint, SalesForce.com or equivalent CRM SaaS tool,

Desired Qualifications
•    General knowledge SaaS functionality
•    SalesForce.com or equivalent CRM SaaS tool
•    Advanced Excel Skills, Excel Macros Preferred
•    Strong database-management aptitude
•    Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) a plus
•    Understands sources of  billing information
•    Billing techniques and processes:  
•    Written and verbal communication–ability to communicate effectively with sales, clients and all levels of internal management
•    Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
•    Supervision
•    Business Judgment and problem solving and research
