The Opportunity

We have an excellent opportunity within a prestigious trust for an extremely skilled, results-oriented business development professional who will be accountable for implementing initiatives focusing on the development of relationships and new business opportunities.

The Responsibilities

• Create and implement a business development strategy for a particular geographical target market or customer group
• Identify business opportunities in terms of new products and services regarding corporate and investment structures that may be provided by the trust company
• Conduct business development missions on a particular geographical target market or with respect to a specific customer group
• Coordinate the establishment of service offers for potential clients, combining the resources of the trust in terms of products and services; present and implement the service offers
• Create presentations on the activity, the products and services provided by the fiduciary, and performance of presentations on related topics, internally and externally in a business development context

The Competencies

• University degree in business administration or applied economics (with majors in finance or accounting) or law, especially if related to international tax law
• Sound knowledge of the Luxembourg legislation in terms of company law and tax law; working knowledge with concepts of international tax law, related to cross-border corporate and investment structures, and accounting
• 8+ years business development/sales experience in the accounting, financial consulting, business advisory services and/or corporate and trust industries. Big 4 or other national/regional trust company experience and field sales experience highly desired
• Business expertise; ability to understand and communicate the business, marketplace and value proposition of the fiduciary in Luxembourg
• Driven self-starter with a proactive approach to develop business relationships at all levels in a client-oriented environment
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in English; the knowledge of other languages, particularly German, Spanish, Italian and/or a language from Central and Eastern Europe or the Scandinavian countries is highly desired
• Availability to travel
• Professional, articulate, high energy, enthusiastic and team oriented
