Business Process Consultant Job

The must have skills :

- Consulting Experience - 5 to 13 years

- Experience with SDLC

- Effective solutions communication to clients - Knowledge of Technology

- Excellent communication skills 

- Must understand Business Processes and be able to provide solutions

- Will be supporting multiple products within the Metastorm and Global 360 division : Core Provision MBPM, MIMM, Case 360, Process 360 and Analystview ( knowledge of products would be great)  

• Billable consulting services for our direct and indirect client base.
• Responsible for the production of project deliverables.
• Complete all start-up, in process, and end of project documentation as required by OpenText procedures.
• Begin to assume more responsibility for a project through increased levels of participation in project leadership roles.
• Recognize the areas where they need further development and pursue the training and opportunities required to master these skills. Perform consulting work with both travel-based assignments and remote-work assignments.
• Provide input to Product Manager on suggestions for product improvement, efficiency, etc.
• Learning MBPM as the company positions for combined, end-to-end solution strategic solutions.
• Develop an awareness of the industry and service offerings that OpenText is involved in, specifically business process improvement, model-based requirements, enterprise/business architecture, and enterprise modeling implementation.
• Assist Manager of Education, as required, for curriculum development updates, input, guidance based on field experiences.
• Satisfied customers and successfully implemented assignments.
• Mastered specified developmental skills
• Responsible for sound consulting principals on all customer assignments.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Skilled at eliciting business and application requirements.
• Learning Metastorm proprietary products.
• Weekly time expense entry, accurate and on-time.
• Delivering sound and scalable ProVision solutions to our Fortune 1000 customer base.
• Weekly status reports to OpenText management and/or customer(s).

Position Requirements: Skills and Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year college or university with a major in education, computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven consulting skills with at least 3 years Enterprise Architecture, Business Process Improvement, and/or Requirements Analysis experience.
• Process Management Skills:
o Strategic Planning, Goal Setting, KPI Development
o Taxonomy Development
o Project Scoping Techniques
o Business Process Improvement Techniques, (such as approaches and certifications in Six Sigma, BPMN, TOGAF, ITIL, etc.)
o Requirements Analysis Techniques, (such as UML)
• Prior experience with Metastorm ProVision Products a plus.
• Prior experience with Professional Services pre-sales activities, POC’s, etc a plus.
• Professional appearance and business behaviors.
• Knowledge of consulting principles, practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of principles of Business Process Model development.
• Solid written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of computer software applications.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and Metastorm personnel.
• Flexible work schedule, depending on project, can work from client, OpenText’s office, or remotely from home, or a combination of both.
• Travel assignments will be managed in short intervals, and ProVision Consultant will exhibit flexibility in meeting customer’s needs. Anticipated travel is in the 75-80% range.
