We are searching for top candidates for our Central Operations Manager position located in Phoenix, AZ, Cincinnati, OH, Houston, TX or Atlanta, GA.

Lead the Lifecycle Solutions Service (LSS) operations function across a defined geographical area, ensuring that the priorities and focus areas are matched to the short and medium term needs of the business, and that the organization is able to achieve its strategic objectives.  Reporting to LSS General Manager for the geography the Central Operations Leader will directly monitor and control the key operations metrics for the pole and functions that are centralized within the geography. The Manager, Central Operations will own process improvement, productivity programs, and reporting on key metrics that enable the geography to meet business commitments.  Responsibilities include:

 

·         Focused on Operational Excellence and Improved Profit Margins

o        Lead and Implement operational improvement programs

o        Establish operational metrics and operating system

o        Deliver business analysis and establish operating plans

o        Pole level productivity and pricing programs

·         Customer Contract Base

o        Responsible for successful renewal of contract base

o        Focus on cash, invoicing, and improved profitability

·         Service Quality

o        Business process improvement and field support

o        SIOP

o        Critical order escalation

o        Interface between field and supply chain

·         Leadership position – Report directly to America’s General Manager

o        Drive and facilitate productivity programs

o        Contract renewal process

o        Business analysis and improvement activities

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

·         Bachelors degree or in lieu of degree 7 years of operations experience in a projects or service operations function

·         5 years of experience managing a technical operations team

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

·         Good working knowledge of a service operations environment.

·         Solid experience in leading centralized operations.

·         Demonstrated business acumen including financial planning, budgeting and negotiation skills.

·         Demonstrated organization and process design capability.

·         Six Sigma qualification to at least Green Belt level

·         Leadership management skills – skilled in motivation and development of a team - sets high performance standards – provides constructive feedback – drives results. Planning and organizational skills. Customer relationship and development skills.

·         Good understanding of the automation environment, able to grasp technical and customer issues and turn them into business actions.

·         Strong working knowledge of the key business tools including SAP and Siebel CRM.

·         Excellent organizational communication -both orally and in writing, and interpersonal skills.

·         Solid level of Business Acumen, able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the integrated relationships across functions within the business.

·         Good understanding of the HPS product portfolio desirable.

·          Ability to energize a medium size workforce to achieve continually increasing performance levels.

·          Ability to manage and develop high performers and to deal effectively and promptly with poor performers.
