Chief Credit Officer for Financial Institutions Group
This Global Financial Services firm is looking for a Director Level Credit Officer to report into the CRO. They are looking for candidates with experience across a diverse set of Financial Institutions and who are able to carry out a diverse and senoir function. Because of the seniority the ideal candidates will be able to liaise with Board level colleagues as well face off with external regulators.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Assign, review, and approve internal credit ratings
- Approve financial institutions credit limits spanning multiple products including investments, counterparty credit, deposits, letters of credit, and repurchase agreements
- Evaluate and approve certain complex counterparty credit risks arising from derivatives trading activity
- Develop appropriate risk infrastructure and processes to measure, evaluate, monitor, and control credit risk risks inherent in a broad array of credit products
