Summary:  Manages the circulation planning and results reporting for a particular product line by performing the following duties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 

Executes mail strategies for assigned Direct Mail and Catalog promotions, including list selection, testing, and analysis.

 

Manages and completes the mail list selection process for a specified product line, by promotion which includes the completion of specific tape pulls following approved segmentation techniques.

 

Analyzes pre and post response-mailing analyses to identify strategies to improve overall response rates for assigned programs.

 

Prepares and distributes the daily sales reports and runs the weekly sales report.

 

Gathers historical date to assist in the preparation of list selects.

 

Builds print orders for assigned direct marketing promotions.

 

Launches email offers and programs.

 

Supports product team with reporting and analysis.

 

Prepares reports, including charts and graphs, and presents recommendations for action plans to management at the monthly Marketing meeting..

Education/Experience:

Four year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

Math Ability:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
