Services as the primary day-to-day contact and pint of escalation for daily servicing issues between GSS and institutional clients for ensuring the attainment of all service requirements in accordance with agreed upon service standards, the trust instrument and Bank of New York Mellon policies and procedures. This position creates, maintains and administers contracts across various departments and multiple offices for many client types. Act as the client advocate and coordinator with all GSS functional departments and related Bank of New York Mellon entities that deliver services to each of the incumbent's assigned clients while also balancing the interests and requirements of Bank of New York Mellon GSS. Support the identification and cultivation of expanded business potential with existing clients through regular client interaction/visits and assist the GSS Relationship Management organization in responding to new business opportunities. Responsible for direction and coordination of all standard and ad hoc client events related to the ongoing services provided by GSS and the involvement of other Bank of New York Mellon entities, where appropriate. Partner with GSS Relationship Management in the establishment and execution of client account plans and participate in client meetings where appropriate. This position has significant client contact as well as Legal/Compliance and Risk Management responsibilities. This position is responsible for executing best practices with in the Client Service organization.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree required or commensurate business experience. Minimum 6 years experience in institutional trust and custody business, preferably with operational experience and/or experience in a role requiring require client interaction. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form, at a level consistent with delivering client presentations, engaging in negotiations, and problem solving both internal and external. Demonstrate a strong customer focus and customer orientation and a track record of personal performance that is consistent with Bank of New York Mellon shared values. Awareness and knowledge of Bank of New York Mellon's business and products. Knowledge of the investment management process and related products. Knowledge of trust, tax, plan administration and ERISA or business segment regulations for qualified and non-qualified plans/trusts accounts and their relation to the services and responsibilities of Bank of New York Mellon.
