Description

The incumbent is responsible for management of corporate food service involving the specifying, bidding, contract negotiation and operations of the contracted food service operations. Activities include the management of corporate cafeterias, vending services, coffee services, facilities catering and executive dining. Ensures that food services conform to established standards of quality, quantity, service and acceptable levels of health and safety. Responsible to identify, quantify, evaluate, coordinate and continuously improve the quality levels of FM services. Manages outsourced plant purchases and maintenance programs.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have a college degree or equivalent work experience with at least 5-7 years in management of a multi-fasted food service operation. Must have knowledge of menu planning and design, wine and liquor service, and food facility design and equipment. Knowledge of restaurant industry trends, corporate feeding programs, and operation of equipment is essential. Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers, contractor staff, and all levels of management. Involvement in local and national food services industry trade associations is preferred.
