Credit Officer, Private Bank

Well established, relationship based private bank with strong values driven ethos, is forging ahead with plans to develop a Risk function, independent of the firm's client facing operations. As part of this change, they have created a new role of Credit Officer with responsibility for lending policy and procedure, credit sanctioning, monitoring and control of credit risk and recovery management when necessary. The existing loan book has increased by 25% over the last year with steady growth forecast for the future, focussing almost exclusively on residential property. Reporting into the CRO, this is an ideal opportunity for someone with sanctioning/underwriting experience, either in retail, commercial or private banking, to join a company that offers positive work-life balance, fulfilling an autonomous role.
