Business Analyst required for extremely business focused change project within an Investment bank. The role focuses heavily on business process re engineering and required a strong appreciation of the CVA business area. The role sits under the CRT banner within CVA and the main project is looking at Economic Funding Derivative Client Capital, primarily around Funding Adjustments and Liquidity Funding.

The CRT trading desk uses results to manage the counterparty risk for the rest of the bank on the derivative trade portfolios for CRT managed counterparties. The systems need to be able to risk all of the existing product set, and also allow new products and risk measures to be added efficiently.

The role would suit someone who has in the past worked in the business that moved into a pure Business Analyst role undertaking the responsibilities of scoping out a project from inception. You must have solid experience at writing the BRD (business requirement documentation), functional specifications and consider yourself seasoned at stakeholder management to the highest degree. Your stakeholders will be at MD level, Head of IT, Head of Trading, Head of Product Control Head of Risk Management. Therefore your interpersonal skills have to be such that you can handle extreme questioning and respond in a manor that pushes back on the wants and advises on the needs. The business will take note of your ideas, and thus your articulation of ideas and your tack and diplomacy will be something that is measured at interview.
