As a Data Analyst, you would be managing a dynamic set of supply chain and cost analysis projects. In this position, you will support a team of Global Commodity Managers in meeting business critical objectives in the following areas: · SUPPLY CHAIN ROI AND DESIGN: o Manage the prioritization and analysis of a dynamic list of existing and proposed supply chain designs supporting Service Operations o Design, evaluate and recommend supply chain designs that maximize the service levels for our customers and while minimizing the supply chain cost for company · SPEND ANALYSIS: o Consolidate and analyze commodity spend data to identify Procurement and Operations opportunities to implement and drive the most efficient supply chain possible while delivering the best customer experience possible o Develop tools, and reporting to assist GCMs in the real time and long-term management of their commodity spend · REPAIR QUOTES: o Analyze material cost and usage data, direct and indirect overhead, operational costs, and contractual terms to provide ?should be? repair pricing, and analysis of supplier repair quotes, RFPs and RFQs, to design repair strategies for GCMs · WARRANTY ANALYSIS: o Analyze Return rate data, component failure data, material costs, repair cost and yield data to determine ?should be? warranty costs and to analyze supplier warranty quotes, RFPs, and RFQs, to design warranty negotiation strategies for GCMs · NPI SUPPORT: o Act as single point of Contact or NPI Readiness team for CPR data. Lead GCM team in the collection and consolidation of required readiness data · In addition, you will manage relationships with Planning, Purchasing, and Quality disciplines within leadership teams Required Qualifications: · Minimum 5 years experience in Supplier and Commodity Management in a high volume industry, such as Personal Computers or Consumer Electronics · Minimum 3 years in dealing in an outsourced manufacturing or service model with overseas suppliers · Core skills must include price negotiation, and supply chain design · Must be very analytical, manage your own time and self driven · Outstanding Excel skills, · Outstanding cost negotiations, cost validation-pricing analysis, FRU-Service Part pricing experience Education: · BS or BA degree from an accredited 4 year college or university (MBA/MS preferred)
