Data Architect/Information Architect
Client is seeking a Sr. Data Architect for their Hopewell location. This contract will be for a minimum of 1 year.
Candidates must have a financial background (banking, brokerage or insurance) and experience in both front and backend architecture.
Client prefers candidates to come from a solid “Big 4” background. Candidates will perform all data and solutions architecture. Will support all information relating to client, account data, data warehousing and data governance.
Position will encompass the following:
· 40% with data warehousing, data marts, data movement and ETL
· 40% working in a distributed environment with .Net, Reporting, and BI (Cognos/MicroStrategy)
· 20% project management skills
Must know the difference between what Cognos and MicroStrategy will work for and be suitable for (what will work best for situation).
Must be able to multi-task, work independently and possess strong prioritization skills.
Need to have made an impact/difference in previous positions (make suggestions, changes, and improvements).
Candidate needs to display a “go getter” attitude, confidence and solid communication skills.
Local candidates preferred (in person interview is mandatory).
