Data Warehouse Systems Analyst Job in Richardson 75080, Texas US

As a member of the Business Analytics and Reporting team, the Data Warehouse Systems Analyst will serve as a liaison between the end users and the UT Dallas data warehouse team.  The Systems Analyst will obtain and transform business requirements into functional specifications that result in development of both ETL and Report program logic.  The Systems Analyst is responsible for developing agenda's, plans, defining required functionality, prioritizing requirements, securing resources and personnel, scheduling tasks, and communicating progress. 

Minimum Qualifications: 
1.  BS MIS, CS, Accounting, Business, or related field required.
2.  Advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft EPM Data Warehouse, and PeopleSoft FIN/HCM data structures.
3.  Solid understanding of business (accounting, budgeting, purchasing, etc.) processes.
4. Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, 6+ years experience specifically in data warehouse/decision support environment acting as either a business analyst or systems analyst.
5.  Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
6. Knowledge of both Inmon and Kimball data warehouse methodologies.
7. Experience working with star schema designs and Architects responsible for logical/physical data modeling.
8. Experience with user acceptance testing activities, plans, and tracking changes through signoff.
9. Solid understanding of SQL and databases, ad-hoc query development.
10. Experience using a data warehouse analytical tool for business purposes (OBIEE, Cognos, Business Objects, SSRS, etc.)
11. Respected within the business community.
12. Team player, must be able to work with people within and outside of the I.R. department.

Preferred Qualifications:
1.  Masters Degree.
2.  PMI Certification.
3.  Technical Writing Certification.
4.  Experience in an I.T. technical role at an educational institution.
5.  Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions data structures.
6.  Experience with OBIEE/Answers.
7.  Experience with Essbase or Analysis Services desired.
8.  Exposure to SAS and predictive modeling.
