Debt Recovery Officer
My Client is a London Council looking for an individual with previous experience in Debt Recovery, preferably within a Local authority.
You will be required to have an ability to negotiate, convince and influence whilst remaining clear and courteous under sometimes difficult circumstances. Having resilience and determination coupled with the positive disposition to succeed, you will be expected to build rapport with customer, partners or suppliers on the telephone quickly and effectively and have the confidence to close payment opportunities / manage suppliers.
You will manage your own caseload to agreed daily targets. Using your specialist knowledge, you will undertake due diligence, identify debt consolidation opportunities and make quick decisions as to the correct enforcement action. You will be self-critical and always seeking ways to improve performance with the ability to take direction.
