Deputy Head Cost Productivity and Analysis

Our client, a leading Bank, is currently seeking an exceptional qualified accountant with strong MI experience and a process improvement background to join their Cost team. The role presents a good opportunity to interact regularly with senior stakeholders and actively drive the performance of the bank.

Your responsibilities will include;
Alignment of local spend to Global priorities
Deliver high quality MI around major Global Initiatives that are verified and accepted by all the regions
Build relationships with various Group Finance Business contacts to effectively deliver on challenges
Drive accurate MI reporting and incisive analysis of the Cost base to facilitate optimisation of the cost base
Support overall cost management activities across the bank
Own the process for all major Global IT programs entailing creation, validation, and tracking of cost/benefits schedule

The successful candidate will ideally be a high calibre qualified accountant with strong Finance operational process improvement background with a track record of success. The individual should have a strong Management Information background both in terms of required content, presentation, production processes and understanding what drives the numbers reported. Prior experience of working with offshore teams is desirable.
