Director of Corporate Services

Wales Council for Voluntary Action represents, campaigns for, supports and develops voluntary organisations, community action and volunteering in Wales. We represent the sector at UK and national level; and together with a range of national specialist agencies, county voluntary councils, volunteer centres and other development agencies, we provide a support structure for the third sector in Wales.

We have over 3,000 members, and is in touch with many more organisations through a wide range of national and local networks.

Through development WCVA are currently recruiting a Director of Corporate Services to work with the Senior Management Team in organisational leadership across the group.

The Director of Corporate Services will provide strategic financial and commercial leadership to the WCVA ensuring the organisation progresses and develops in a sustainable way. This includes budgets, forecasts, pensions and investments.

You will also provide strategic direction, leadership and management oversight of the finance, HR, ICT, premises and facilities, and other corporate services functions.

The successful applicant will be CCAB qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) with demonstrable experience in financial management and the development and implementation of robust systems and policies.

They will have knowledge of IT systems and employment policy and practice, alongside the ability to manage properties and ensure good tenant relationships.

This is both a broad and integral role within WCVA and directly involved with the continued successful progression and development of the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a strategic role with a leading organisation.
