About the Job

The Director of Marketing is responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the Organization’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. Oversees development and implementation of support materials and services for chapters in the area of marketing, communications and public relations. Directs the efforts of the marketing, communications and public relations staff and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the Organization.

  

Responsibilities

 

·         Accountable for the company’s internal and external image.

·         Collaborates with the Leadership Team to formulate communications strategies and works to align the company and our partners to ensure consistency and clarity of messaging.

·         Assist the company President in the formulation of All-Hands meetings and other regular company-wide communications.

·         Maintain consistency with corporate style guides and parent corporation initiatives and guidelines for marketing.

·         Supervises external agency relationships for PR, artistic services, and website development and management.

·         Collaborates with the CTO and VP of Engineering to name, describe, and promote the company’s technical solutions offerings.

·         Writes press releases and web content.

·         Develops marketing campaigns through web and social media, and develops internal programs to encourage employee participation in blogs, knowledge bases, and videos.

·         Analyzes market conditions and segmentation, profiling key customer behaviors, pricing modalities, new geographic opportunities, and competitive practices.

·         Collaborates with the VP of Sales to ensure consistency and quality in proposal content and price quotations.

·         Negotiates press approvals and endorsements with key customers.

·         Plans and implements major trade show activities.

·         Develops and manages distributor and dealer channel programs for Professional Equipment Sales.

·         Plans and coordinates relationship marketing for strategic customers, planning and coordinating events, communications, and marketing giveaways.

·         Owns and defends the company’s brand image.

·         Assists HR and Sales to ensure that training materials and learning venues are consistently branded

·         Helps employees contribute to, and take pride in, the company’s image.
