District Nurse RGN Band 6
Hays Healthcare urgently requires a number of Band 6 RGN community nurses / district nurses to work in the Liverpool area. To apply, applicants must have their own vehicle and will be able to travel to all Liverpool locations. Excellent pay rates are available for these positions.
To be considered, you must have:
• Previous community experience
• Current NMC Registration
• The right to work in the UK
• Be able to work any day shifts between Monday to Friday.
• Band 6
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a community, however nurses with an acute medical background or experience working in a hospice, surgery, medical practice or community based environments will also be considered. You must be reliable, punctual and have excellent communication skills.
I am looking for nurses with the following experience with (but not limited to) peg feeds, syringe drivers, catheters, compression bandaging, wound management, ventilation, palliative care, picc line and hickman lines.
As a community nurse you will be expected to visit patients in the community and their own homes and work with the District team to care for their individual needs. You must be able to supervise and lead from the front.
