Divisional Finance Director
I am working with a large UK insurance business, which has expanded rapidly over the last few years. The business is continuing to grow at an accelerated rate, both as a reaction to the economy, through acquisition and through the strong leadership team who are driving the business forward. To support their growth, the business has decided to up skill their commercial finance function which supports their commercial lines business. They are looking for an experienced business partner or commercial finance leader to join them.
The role will focus on developing the management information and business partnering function that the team provides, engaging with senior operational directors in the business to help them understand their cost base and revenue, challenge them on budgets and forecasts and deliver improved MI and decision making to the business. The company is going through a significant change period to facilitate the growth and as such someone who has experience in a change environment would be highly desirable.
I am therefore looking for a qualified finance professional who has worked at a senior level within the finance function of an insurance business. You must possess real gravitas with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and provide direction to their team. I will be looking for evidence of commercial finance experience in your most recent roles and achievements, which highlight how you have added value to the business.
