ECM Senior Associate/VP, Independent Investment Bank
Our Client:
Is a leading Independent Investment Bank. They have an extremely successful Capital Markets investment banking team, covering ECM transactions across the German speaking markets. They are looking for an exceptional Senior Associate/VP with first class ECM experience, preferably with training from a leading Tier 1 or independent investment bank, and a track record of Capital Markets transactions (completed or otherwise).
Core Responsibilities:
-Building and using complex financial models, completing valuation and analytical exercises
-Preparing and participating in deal pitches
-Executing end-to-end client transactions
-Originating mandates with Senior Bankers, building individual network
-Mentoring junior team members
Job Summary:
Roles within the business are balanced between winning new business and the execution of investment banking projects. The role of an Associate/VP would principally consist of leading the execution of projects, and developing your network for origination purposes. The firm offers excellent development prospects for your investment banking career, with exposure to the senior ECM professionals who specialise in specific sectors.
Your experience should bring:
-FLUENT German and English
-Excellent analytical and technical skills
-Solid corporate finance knowledge
-Very strong attention to detail
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
-Initiative to take responsibility for a task and complete it
-Strong teamwork skills
-Demonstrable experience within Investment Banking (MA, industry teams)
-Strong academic background
