Position Description

EDI Systems Analyst-New Implementations

EDI Systems Analyst is responsible for managing the implementation of Nextgen Healthcare's EDI transaction processing application.

coordinate the EDI Testing and Claims Implementation as well as the testing of 837I/837P ANSI transactions Code Sets .
Assist Clients with the setup of Nextgen File Maintenance Data.
Troubleshoot client claim and remittance issues.
*Coordinate with Development staff on client and government change requests.

REQUIRED QUALIFYING JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
o Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures
o Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
o Effectively manage multiple client issues in a timely and efficient manner
o Display a high degree of motivation and the ability to work independently
o Proven ability to work in a team environment
o Excellent English language, oral and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFYING JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
o Posses in depth knowledge of the ANSI X12 format including 835 and 837
Professional and Institutional Formats
o Experience with Payers or Clearinghouses
o Proven experience in Software Implementation
o Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications
o SQL Server Experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
o Minimum of 5 years Customer Service related activity

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
o Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent working experience
o Healthcare IT experience
