Institutional Banking and Markets provides relationship management and product capability for the Bank's major corporate, government and institutional clients. IBM offers Total Capital Solutions to our clients, ranging from core transactional banking to debt, equity and financial markets risk management products and services.
The team
The Commercial FX Desk is a national team that looks after clients with Spot and Forward exposures. We only cater for relationship managed clients in the different business segments, IB, CFS, LBB, Private Bank and RAB. We hope to identify structured solution opportunities to refer to the ICS teams.
You will:
Market and sell to existing and potential clients nationally the benefits of using our online foreign exchange payment system (CommBiz Markets).
More specifically you will:
- Undertake outbound calls to existing and potential clients nationally to sell CommBiz Markets
- Dealing foreign exchange (spot FWD) and assisting clients manage FX risk
- Identifying structured solution opportunities
- Increase the number of clients nationally that actively use CommBiz Markets
- Ensure the provision of best market practice in price making, idea generation and execution of FX
- Maintain and service the electronic FX client segment
- Actively gather, maintain and report knowledge of market conditions to internal and external clients
- Develop and retain strong liaisons with internal and external clients
- Pro-active behaviours to assist growing CBAs market share
You are:
- Degree qualified with a AFMA Tier 1 accreditation
- Motivated and engaged, with a demonstrated ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets
- Interpersonal with excellent communication skills
- Analytical with strong problem solving, numerical and verbal reasoning skills
- Accountable with proven commitment to comply with regulations, policies and process
- Experienced within financial services and GM products
