Job Description:

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for an Electrical Engineer opening to join our Operations organization in Amana, IA.

 Day to Day(what a typical day or week looks  like in this role)

 Support of the day-to-day assembly operation of Bottom Mount Refrigeration, response to equipment breakdown situations; determine cause of downtime and resolution to provide quick turnaround. Utilize day to day support requirement to implement effective and efficient changes in assembly and maintenance functions, using POKE-YOKE, or program changes to improve cycle time.  Support various projects related to new products, improved processes or decrease equipment downtime, including upgrading controls of equipment to provide support by maintenance team.  This position will require an individual to have flexibility to multitask within an array of day-to-day operations support requirements.

What You Need To Succeed

             Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required with a strong electrical background in a  manufacturing/assembly environment.

             5-10 years related experience including experience in Lean Manufacturing Methods.

             Project management experience.

             PC proficiency utilizing MS Office, MS Project, MS Access, AutoCAD and VB (Visual Basic).

             Strong communication skills

             Strong understanding of Allen Bradley Controls (ex. SLCs, ControlLogix, RSLogix…)

             Strong understanding and programming skills of Allen Bradley Panelviews, Panelview Plus, Wonderware Intouch and other HMI hardware and software.

             Experience in motion controls, Servos, VFD, etc.

             Communication and support to 24-hour / day assembly processes

             Proven leadership ability, excellent communicator, confidence inspirer, and self motivator

             Strong knowledge of Plastics Extrusion and vacuum forming equipment a plus

             Good understanding of Vision Inspection systems and benefits

             Ability to interpret and apply the N.E.C. and other state and local codes.

             Understanding of 480vac and 120vac power distribution system.
