Emerging Markets Economist recruitment
Our client, one of the largest asset managment firms in the world is expanding their fixed income strategy team and is looking to add a fixed income emerging market economist to their group.
This specific position will be based in Abu Dhabi and the person must be open and able to re-locate if needed.
This person will be within the research team and be responsible for providing macroeconomc research on the main emerging markets with a specific focus on Asia. He/she will provide intense analytical understanding of macro/microeconomic issues and present these findings to the Fixed Income and Treasury Department though written materials and oral commucication.
In addition, the successful candidate must be able to produce market views based on his/her macroeconomic findings and work with the portfolio managers in developing and enhancing investment strategies.
The ideal candidate will have some if not all of the following:
*Degree in Economics
*CFA/MBA or other higher level of educaiton
*5-8 years of experience
*Knowledge of Asian markets
*Highly conceptual thinker
