JHP are currently looking to recruit an experienced Employability Coach. Are you experienced in delivering job focused/skills training to disadvantaged groups? Do you have a track record of achieving/exceeding targets and knowledge of government funded programmes? Do you have an IAG qualification? If so, then you could be perfect for this role.

As part of our Employability team you'll support our clients by delivering a combination of skills and job focused training programs, workshops and job search guidance to either 1:1 or a group. You're outgoing, approachable nature and ability to listen will enable you to provide clients, with impartial information, advice and guidance to help then make informed decisions about how they can achieve their goals.

A typical day could include assessing client's skills levels and job readiness, assisting in the preparation and updating of clients CVs and self-marketing material, maintaining client records and matching clients to suitable employment and progression opportunities, as well as providing 1:1 support through face to face meetings and telephone contact.

You'll need to be able to motivate and work positively with a variety of clients, often facing challenging circumstances, and day in day out - even when under pressure.

Requirements for the this role:

Essential:

• Experience of delivering training programs and workshops
• Recruitment experience
• Experienced of working to targets
• IAG qualification
• Experience of coaching supporting clients through job search

Desirable:

• Experience of working with sub-contractors and delivery partners
• Knowledge of local businesses
• Used to working with referral bodies and other departments to assist in monitoring and processing of clients details and information
