Employment Support Officer Job in Worcestershire, Midlands Uk

JHP are currently looking to recruit an experienced Employment Support Officer. Do you have a passion for people, and a desire to help others learn new skills and gain further qualifications? Do you have Recruitment, Sales and/or Marketing experience, as well as Vocational Training and Work Based Learning experience? If so, then you could be perfect for this role.

Covering the Worcestershire area, you will be responsible for carrying out local sales, marketing and PR activities in order to attract learners to Apprenticeship and NVQ programmes and to place these learners with suitable employers.

As a valued member of the team you will also be required to effectively market JHP Group's training services to employers encouraging them to employ young people as Apprentices, as well as match new and existing learners with suitable employers for placement and employment.

The ideal person would need to be target driven and have good knowledge of the local labour market. You will be expected to travel extensively and will be based from home covering a specific region.

Requirements for this role

Essential:
Full driving license and use of own car
Sales and/or Marketing experience
Recruitment Experience
Knowledge of local labour market
Experience of working to targets

Desirable:
Experience of interaction with the client group
Vocational training/Work based learning experience
Knowledge of social issues affecting the client group
NVQ/Key (Core) Skills in the workplace
Knowledge of government funded programmes
