Endevor Consultant Job in Syracuse, New York US
Title: Endevor Consultant.
Location: Syracuse, NY.
Duration: 6+ Months Contract.
Job Description:
· Consultant should have some CA Endevor training like the courses below:
· CA Endevor Software Change Manager: Administrators 200
· CA Endevor Software Change Manager: Advanced Processor Writing 300
· Below is a general list of functions they should know how to do:
- create a system in Endevor including the following components:
- subsystem
- types
- processor groups
- symbolic overrides in processor groups
- approver groups and how to relate them to an inventory area
- global type sequence
· They should also know about Endevor processors, they're the backbone of Endevor and control most processing, below is what they need:
- how to make changes to them using a lot of the if-then-else logic.
- how to migrate them to production using Endevor. Understand the QA and PROD PRCLOAD DSN's.
- know how to put in symbolic overrides and understand how any override can impact other systems.
- how we incorporate the Macro4 products into the Endevor processors.
- how to control binds and links etc. in the processors.
· Endevor packages:
- Know how to create them and execute them, and also understanding how YA001 package sweep job processes them at PROD .
- Understand quorums and updating the approver list.
- Debugging failed packages or any user batch migration is a must.
· NG site specific:
- Must know M/F REXX to support CSS Migmenu and Migmenue
- Experience with Endevor API, this is what Migmenu/e uses to communicate with Endevor.
· Endevor upgrade experience would be a plus, they need to know how to work with the following Endevor tables:
· C1DEFLTS, ENDICNFG, BC1TNEQU, ENCOPTBL, ENHAPLST, C1UEXITS(optional)
