Equity analyst with Financial Services/Insurance/Banks sector
As part of its rapid expansion, a well- known Global Asset Manager which recently established their presence in HK and their investments/manufacturing responsibilities, is looking to hire a top caliber equity analyst to be based in Hong Kong and cover China financial institutions like banks and/or insurance sectors. In the summer of this year, they have added a Fund manager and now looking to recruit 2 strong and experienced analysts to cover China Equities market.
The equity analyst will work under the wings of an industry renowned Fund manager and can look towards a career progression pathway as Head of Research or Fund Manager in the near future.
The candidate could come from the sell side, however, he/she will need to be able to demonstrate strong fundamental research and analysis frame work as well as be confident in his/her own stock picking and be able to present investment ideas to the portfolio manager with supreme assertion.
The ideal candidate will come from a global asset manager/or well- known large bank with a stable career history but also ready to make the move to an entrepreneurial platform.
The equity analyst should have:
- 5/ 7 years equity research experience in the China sector covering financial services (banks/ insurance sectors) from a large/renown bank or Top Asset manager
- Postgraduate qualification/and/or CFA
- Fluent Mandarin will be ideal to deal with Chinese clients but not mandatory
