Equity Research Analyst, Oilfield Services
Our client is a major sell side firm, who are now looking to add an Equity Research analyst to cover oilfield services firms. The position will focus on the writing of equity research for asset management and hedge funds on companies in the sector.
Day to day, you can expect to carry out detailed financial analysis, valuations, financial modelling, write research notes, visit companies, advise clients, monitor newsflow.
They are very interested in meeting people who will have either a background in sell side oil and gas research, or possibly an oil and gas professional from a company like BP or Shell or Schlumberger. A reservoir engineering background would be useful.
