European Bond Options Trader recruitment
Alexander Black Recruitment is urgently looking European Bond Options Trader to join our high profile client.
Our client is one of the world’s top Prop Trading Houses. They trade across a wide range of asset classes globally. They cover the global markets by leveraging and integrating technology, risk management and quantitative research.
The trader will develop and execute fixed income trading strategies in the European Bond markets.
Candidates will:
- Research, identify and capture current opportunities in the European bond markets; introduce new strategies for the long end of the curve
- Engage in daily trading of Bund, Bobl, Schatz and Euribor products
- Carefully manage the curve and delta risk of the long end portfolio
- Communicate daily with the rest of the fixed income team regarding new opportunities and strategies
Candidates Must have:
- Previous experience successfully managing a fixed income portfolio
- Treasury experience
- Previous experience in European bond markets
- Consistent PnL record for min 3 years
- strong risk management skills and an in-depth understanding of European fixed income markets
- BA/BSc in Maths, Stats, Finance
- Must be proficient in Excel and Bloomberg
- Strong quantitative skills
- · Proven ability to investigate issues within own area of work and pursue goals and objectives until achieved
Applicants should be able to show substantial experience applying their skills to real-world problems with practical applications. You should also be able to demonstrate excellent quantitative skills, good attention to detail and significant achievement.
