Job Description Supports the success of Chapter fundraising events. Works with staff and volunteer leadership to assist with planning, coordinating and implementing events designed to raise funds for and to promote community awareness of Red Cross programs and services. Job Requirements High school or equivalent; specialized business or secretarial training required. Minimum 1-3 years related work experience or the equivalent combination of related education and experience is required. Skills and Abilities : Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong skills in planning and problem-solving. Capable of directing and working effectively with donors, volunteers, staff and committees in a wide range of activities while under pressure and/or deadlines. Demonstrated competencies in the following areas: detail orientation and organization skills, flexibility, customer service, and ability to problem solve. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with integrity and ethically. Intermediate level proficiency with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. May involve work in the field.
