Events Manager Northern Europe recruitment

Opportunity
Purpose:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the planning and delivery of all events for relevant sales channel.
- Produce a calendar of events for the sales channel and take ownership for the full delivery of each event from inception to execution.
- Manage the events budget for their sales channel and establish regular communications with the Channel Heads on how the budgets are being utilised.
- Ensure all events procedures are followed and attendees are logged for ABC purposes.

Direct Reports:
- As relevant for the specific channel (see most up to date organisation chart).

Accountabilities:
- All events in channel.
- Pan-European events such as AIF.
- Budgetary control.

Key responsibilities

Management of channel events:

- Develop annual event plans for Sales team/business (Q3/4), ensuring that all key clients and prospects are targeted through appropriate event type. Update quarterly.
- Create event brief for all events (for sign-off by the relevant stakeholder) covering all aspects of delivery (including venue, logistics and marketing and communications support).
- Develop timeline for events in that channel and agree all key deliverables and delivery dates. Deliver against time-table.

- Agree event budget with key stakeholders and manage budget. All activity/spend to be centrally recorded.
- Manage internal departments to ensure successful delivery. Work with Global Marketing team as required to support delivery programme.
- Provide regular progress updates and ensure effective stakeholder management.
- Onsite event execution - ensure overall event delivery to highest standards and deal with any real-time issues effectively.
- Liaise with third party agencies (where appropriate) on creative development, event management and logistics.
- Work together with other team.

What we are looking for

Knowledge and experience:
- Experienced event manager in relevant industry sector.
- Fluent/native in German speaker, and English

Qualifications:
Educated to degree level.
