VP Level - Execution Trader, Cash Equities in Hong Kong
My client, a leading international investment bank, is searching for a VP level trader to join their Cash Equities team in Hong Kong. The role will involve trading a range of APAC Cash Equity products, focusing specifically on East Asian markets. The successful applicant will have a proven track record in the space and will currently be working as a Cash Equities Execution Trader at a Tier 1 or 2 Investment Bank, Fund or Prop Shop and will be looking to take on more responsibilities in their next position on a successful trading team which has seen growth and success, performing very well this year.
Job Details:
-Communicate effectively with a range of relevant contacts to ensure an accurate representation is given of the risk/reward associated with any given strategy
-Give accurate estimates of daily research
-Develop and maintain client relationships across the APAC sector
-Generate trade ideas along with executing trades linked to these
Key Requirements:
-Strong understanding of equities with a focus on cash but knowledge of flow, derivatives, convertibles, and exotics
-Experience working within a cash equities group at another competitive Tier 1 or 2 trading team
