Experienced Energy Traders and Fund Managers recruitment
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced fund manager/trader or team to work with the senior partners to develop and launch the fund. It offers the individual the ability to be involved in all aspects of a fund launch from hiring to capital raising and strategy implementation. The position would be especially attractive to an individual who wishes to take more responsibility than trading on the desk. It offers the chance to have real ownership in the fund vehicle coupled with ability to earn an above market % of the funds PL.
It is expected that the individual will have a deep understanding of and commercial exposure to developing hedge fund strategies, in addition to a strong familiarity with relevant risk management techniques and systems. Due to the broad and entrepreneurial nature of the position, complementary experience in a client facing or business management position would also be highly advantageous.
Suitable applicants will have gained significant energy/commodity trading experience from a bank, trading house, fund or energy company, in addition to possessing a tangible proprietary trading track record.
