Our client, a major oil gas company in Houston, is seeking a paralegal with strong export compliance experience for a 4-6 month long contract position in their West Houston office. The individual in this position must be able to develop, implement and monitor process to ensure compliance with deemed export compliance requirements for business’ participation in technical forums, facility site visits. Must have knowledge of all U.S. export laws and regulations, including those of the Bureau of Export Administration. This person will be responsible for developing and maintaining documentation processes for all export compliance activities, preparing and filing export documentation, developing and updating technology matrices with export classification commodity numbers (ECCN) and Schedule B as well as preparing standard non-disclosure agreements and contract agreements.
