Fixed Term Contract -Management Accountant

New job opportunity on a fixed term contract basis for a qualified Accountant or equivalent with strong Management Accounts and Financial Analysis experience to join this well known local employer.
The contract will run for 12 months and there could be permanent opportunities beyond this point. 

Day to day duties:
Preparation of monthly management accounts on a timely basis including accruals and prepayments completeness
Preparation of weekly management accounts on a timely basis
Production of relevant business reporting suites with focus on interpretation
Business information database management, maintenance and interrogation
Variance analysis including highlighting focus areas
Head Office costing, cost allocations and recharge management and review
Balance Sheet reporting and review
Preparation of annual plan/budget models
Internal Benchmarking
Development and implementation of business-wide KPIs
Continuous improvement of systems and controls
Provide support to Finance Manager
Take personal ownership for own development and career planning

Qualification: ACCA/ACA/ACMA (or by experience)
Skills Profile:
Excellent PC skills
Excel modelling skills
Access database skills
Analytical thinker

One of the key aspects of this role is partnering with another business unit and integrating the finance processes in to the central function. Some travel will be required within the South East. (not extensive)
In addition experience of identifying process-based efficiencies will be useful along with Access database skills.
